Depression rates in various cities of Pakistan have been noted from 22 to 60 percent, which is highest in the more populous cities like Karachi and Lahore. It is estimated that if mental illness rates continue to rise, Pakistan will have mental health problems by 2050. In terms of number six in the global rankings.

Although most of the cities of Pakistan are still ruled by the joint family system and in case of any kind of illness, the patient gets full support of family and loved ones, but our outdated social system may be called psychological and mental disorders. Instead of supporting the patient in treatment therapy, it does make it more lonely. However, if seen, depression and anxiety are not actually insanity, but a mental strain that is also a major problem globally.
In this article, we will try to explain what depression and mental illness are like and how it is possible to get rid of depression. In Pakistan society, awareness of mental illness is one of the main reasons for our outdated social. There is a system and where traditions, customs and outsiders are given more importance than children or relationships, and minor psychological disorders are suppressed at home and one of the reasons for not bringing up such problems. What would you say?

What is depression?

Depression is the name of a specific condition in which the patient perceives themselves as lonely, depressed, and unsuccessful; this disease exacerbates the negative side of events, and in this case if the patient is not adequately supported by family or friends. If received and timely treatment is ignored, the patient's mental condition starts to deteriorate, which is fatal to both his social and professional life.

Enzyme can be called the twin sister of depression; Depression presents the patient as a failed human being. Enzyme exacerbates these negative thoughts and fosters constant fear and anxiety in the patient thus progressing in life. The stagnation is caused by stagnation, and this stagnation gradually loses the patient's ability to lick his happiness, dreams, relationships and love like a termite.

Although depression has been reported in people of all ages, according to reports released by global organizations, the prevalence of the disease among young people aged 18 to 30 years after 2011 is increasing alarmingly. New generation "Depressed Generation" Why is it happening? There may be many different reasons, including the following.

1.
Inter Family Marriage and Genetics

Even though we are living in the digital age of the 21st century today, there is no shortage of educated families in Pakistan who are very strict in caste issues and against marriage outside the family, such is the case of forced marriages. My husband and wife rarely get mental cohesion and their children are also at home from the beginning with stress or depression, such children are at high risk of mental illness after the age of 18. Because they lack the ability to self-solve problems and self-esteem, and they can be very stressful at university or later at work. Become depressed.

2. Diabetic problems

In developing countries like Pakistan, depression is one of the major reasons for the rapid growth of the economy, challenges in population growth in big cities and the desire to adopt a luxurious lifestyle, everyone in the race for status quo. Forgetting the distinction between good and evil in a passionate way of earning more and more, leading not only to the downfall of the social system but also to selfishness and interest in bloody relationships.

People with sensitive nature and pain are increasingly suffering from mental illness because at every turn a human being is sitting in the crowd or dancing, as well as rising unemployment and senior people in the office or The younger generation is also suffering from depression due to bad behavior of the boss and at present 10 out of 100 youths are undergoing therapists due to their psychological problems.

3 Generation Gap

The milestones that humans have overcome in the field of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence, over the past four decades, have been huge on the overall development of the last 2 centuries, the revolution that has taken place in our lives due to electronics and artificial intelligence. It is not hidden from view, but with the benefits of this rapid development, serious disadvantages have also emerged and after the developed countries, the social and social system is also in decline in the developed and backward countries.
Today's generation is living in a digital age that wants to pay for everything with a click or a few punches on mobile, while parents are still relying on old values, so the distance between parents and children has increased, not so much. So parents are reluctant to change their children by observing their tendencies and do not want to accept the old ways and customs of the offspring, resulting in a rebellious or emotionally ill child born into every family whose sole purpose for life is And just satisfy your desires.

4. Social Media

Social media has clung to our social lives in the past decade and a half, with the advent of smartphones, the use of social media has also increased rapidly in Pakistan and currently the leading countries importing smartphones in Pakistan. Is one, but our tragedy is that every new invention drives its negative use.
The purpose of creating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all the other social networking websites was to promote world peace by connecting people around the world, but our younger generation took them as 'Pir All Life', where Everyone is hiding their true personality, putting masks on the mushrooms, which has led to a new generation of psychological disorders because people are not ready to accept themselves with their imperfections, hence their relationships with themselves and their relationships. Distance has grown and people stay busy on smartphones rather than chatting at home.
Excessive use of mobile phones also has adverse effects on the brain. Depression has increased the rate of depression vanity in the younger generation, but instead of getting rid of them, social media has become addictive. Without them, our lives would be incomplete. On the other hand, parents of the new generation also prefer to spend time on social media and mobile rather than paying their responsibilities properly and paying attention to children who also suffer from depression and anxiety in the coming generation. Is a red signal of serious psychiatric disorders.
